Through dedicated peer support, specialized confidence development training, and applicable mental health resources, we aim to eradicate harmful stigmas that hinder our communities and inspire lasting change. 

PEER CONSULTATIONS

Jouéur's "Just Like Me" program fosters personal and professional growth through mentorship, connecting professionals, students and community members for support centered around cultural competencies and similarities.

Jouéur begins with self-image, addressing foundational psychological needs deprived from BIPOC youth, eradicating hindering stigmas to foster personal and leadership development for a progressive society.

BLACK INDIVIDUALS MAY EXPERIENCE HIGHER RATES OF RACIAL TRAUMA DUE TO SYSTEMIC RACISM, DISCRIMINATION, AND MICROAGGRESSIONS. THIS CHRONIC STRESS CAN CONTRIBUTE TO MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES SUCH AS ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, AND POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD).
